For the Battenkill, we will drop you off and pick you up. If you own your own boat we offer shuttle services.

Battenkill Valley Outdoors tailors the length of your trip to your needs....the average trip is 2-4 hours of river time, however we can make it longer or shorter as you wish.

Our rentals feature:
CANOES: Wenonah & Bell

KAYAKS: Necky, Hurricane, and Heritage, & Emotion, Current Designs (solo, tandem, and sit-on-tops)

INFLATABLES: Hyside & NRS
"ducky" style kayaks-solo & tandem, rafts for families or 4 close friends, and tubes.

All rentals include PFD (lifejacket), paddle, rivermap and shuttle service.

Fish Creek which flows from Saratoga Lake, is our newest addition. This is a lovely, easy paddle river allowing exploration up toward Grangerville or exploring parts of Saratoga Lake. This easy day of paddling requires no shuttle. Battenkill Valley Outdoors will manage this site at the Kayak Shak from Memorial Day weekend thru Labor Day weekend.

Instruction: Beginning kayak or canoe instruction is available. Learn how to control a boat in flat water & moving water, safety, strokes, & wet exits.
